When you’re noticing your mood has gone down, through blocks, stressors in your life, work or relationship challenges a shift inevitably first needs to be initiated from the INSIDE. Plugging IN to your inner landscape is an important practice for conducting a diagnostic of what’s going on, the quality of your energy, your thoughts about yourself, the people in your life and your life circumstances. How are you experiencing your BEING-NESS in this moment? What is the quality of your energetic frequency?
Shifting a stuck mood, being creative, making decisions, magnetising our desires are all very difficult to do when we are feeling depleted.
The Interrelationship of Mind, Body and Spirit
From a holistic perspective – the harmonious inter relationship of mind, body and spirit is reflected in our vibrational frequency. Foods, activities, relationship patterns, thoughts and beliefs that are inflammatory exacerbate our fear, anxiety, frustration, uncertainty and stuckness. They all create dissonance in our energetic frequency. When our energetic frequency is low or dissonant we may experience a lack of energy, depression, anxiety, a lack of motivation, contraction in hearts and cloudiness in our thinking. We may feel disconnected from our deepest self which is our source of infinite abundance, wisdom and grace.
Things that Lower Your Energetic Frequency
Some of the things that lower our vibrational frequency are: White Sugar, hard alchohol, constant exposure to electro-magnetic devices, radiation, excess red meat, processed grains, junk food, medications, yelling, anger, resentment, guilt, holding onto the past, toxic relationships and environmental toxins.
These all have an impact on our inner clarity, our capacity to draw on insight and stabilise our moods. In order to create a shift you may first need to look at where in your life you may need a psychic detox. For example where may you need to clear out or minimise exposure to certain thoughts, things or people who drain you energetically and psychically.
The next step is to bring back your focus to elements that RAISE your vibrational frequency. These can help you feel better almost immediately and nourish your wellbeing. On the top of my list is GRATITUDE and appreciation. When I spend a little time every day focusing on those things and people I love and appreciate in my life, I feel better in my heart, in my body and this shifts the general perspective I hold of my life.
Recalling those things we love and appreciate starts to radiate an energetic frequency of COHERENCE in our hearts. Our heart sends coherent signals to our brain which then synchronizes to our heart’s coherent rhythm. This helps shift our emotional state, and calm our mind.
When I practice focusing on gratitude, I feel lighter, more spacious and start to experience the infinite love and abundance that is in my life NOW. My heart’s coherence amplifies the strength and effectiveness of my compassion and care of myself, my dreams and visions which has a flow on effect on all those around me.
Each of our thoughts, attitudes and emotions send out an energetic field. These don’t just affect us, our health and how we view life, but they also influence our relationships, our social interactions and ultimately planet earth.
Practices that Raise Your Energetic Frequency
Eating whole foods, specific practices that move energy through your body like yoga, tai chi, chi gong and dancing, Laughing, singing, reading inspirational books, listening to relaxing and inspirational music, spending time in nature regularly (daily), sunshine, hugging (yourself and others) letting go, forgiving, grounding yourself (standing barefoot on the earth for at least 20 minutes, eating lots of veggies, fruits, nuts, drinking water regularly, breathing deeply, being kind to yourself and to others, praying, being still and listening.
All of these will raise your energetic frequency I guarantee it! They will shift your mood, help you gain greater clarity and insight in your life and open your heart to the expansiveness of your soul’s consciousness.
Heart Coherence Exercise
Heart coherence triggers positive hormonal releases. This makes it easier to experience peace, positive feelings and a deeper meditative state more quickly. Try this simple practice:
- Focus your attention in the area of your heart.
- Imagine that your breath is flowing in and out of your heart or chest.
- Breathe a little slower and deeper than usual.
- Activate a positive feeling – an experience of care or appreciation for someone or something in your life.
- Make this a daily practice in the same way you would brush your teeth.
- Use this whenever you recognise at moments when your energy has felt drained.
