Here's what some girls have said about Puberty
Girl!
Dear Shushann,
Thankyou so much on an infomative, exiting, truthful, jam-packed,
amazing, helpful and lifechanging book!! I have recently reread
your book 'Puberty Girl' and saw that I could respond through
your email and I just had to tell you my thoughts. When i first
got my periods (About 10 years old) I was too afraid to even
talk about it with my best friend! I secretly bought your book,
hoping I would find out what was happening. After reading 'Puberty
Girl' I had the courage to tell my mum and some of my friends!
There are just so many things I need to thank you for! Just
some of them are: periods, body image, health and fitness,
B.o., bullying, hair growth, breasts, (that's a biggie) boy's
puberty and much much more! I now have a fantastic outlook
on puberty and actually look forward to all the changes in
store and growing up! Thanks to some of the ideas and tips
in your book, I have learnt so much more about my body and
how it works now, and my mind. I think if I hadn't read your
book, my puberty would have been a VERY bumpy ride. So once
again, thankyou!
Love
Georgia M, (now 14)

Dear Shushann

Dear Shushann,
Hi, my name is Claudia and I’m 11 years old and I come from
New Zealand. My mum bought me, Puberty aGirl and I think it is
the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It gives you HEAPS of info but it’s
really fun and easy to read! I was always a bit scared and worried
about growing up and every-thing but now after I’ve read
your book I am actually looking forward to it! (New Zealand)
Dear Shushann.
I love your book, Puberty Girl. It inspires me! My name is Hannah
and I'm almost 12 years old. You are one of my idols! Your book
is so amazing! Your book taught me so much things that I'm really
looking forward to! I'm just started puberty, and I'm a little
bit frightened about the whole thing! I was the first one in
my school library to get your book! You rock!
Sincerely,
Hannah Frederiksen (California, U.S.A.)
It is empowering to learn about ourselves and to be ourselves,
to be healthy, to feel good about who we are and to get as much
support and encouragement and love as we can because we deserve
it! Check out the question and answer section below and please
write to me with any questions. I promise to give you the honest-to-goodness
truth of what goes on in there, down there, up there, over there
and around there! I know puberty can feel scarey and have its downs,
but girlfriend, it can be sooo exciting too!!!
Lotsa love,
Shushann
